Fantasy. Classes.
All Out Warfare.
Project Leyline is a class-based, fantasy-warfare shooter. If dragons, squads, and spell-slung chaos across living fronts sounds like your jam, you’re in the right place.
All artwork is pre-alpha and will change throughout development.
Why We’re Building Project Leyline
We’re gamers first. Our vision is to find the fun, and put player experience and gameplay at the front of every decision.
We craved a vibrant, fantasy shooter that blended RPG classes with large-scale combat that is built on community feedback. We want dragons raining fire from the sky while spells and steel clash on the battlefield below.
Help us shape what comes next and forge Project Leyline into your game!

Classes of Leyline
Every unit in Project Leyline is designed with a distinct playstyle. Whether you’re leading the charge or supporting from afar, your squad composition shapes the outcome of every encounter.
Sentinel
Clad in heavy armor and armed with an indomitable will, the Sentinel commands the battlefield with presence alone.
Wraith
You’ll never see him coming. Wraith stalks from a distance, striking with surgical precision before vanishing into smoke and shadow.
Cleric
The Cleric battles against sacred vows with temptation and redemption. She continuously switches between her light and shadows to help her allies or destroy her enemies.
Roadmap
PHASE 1 - COMBAT SYSTEMS
APR '25
HIYA Studios LLC Formed
HIYA Studios LLC launched with a vision: to create a class-based shooter in a stylized fantasy setting with the best feeling combat systems that can be developed for a fantasy shooter.
MAY-SEP '25
Build the Foundation
We built the base ourselves. In-house code powers projectiles, abilities, and combat feel. AWS GameLift hosts our servers, bringing industry leading reliability and scale. We completed design documents across classes, archetypes, and abilities to keep our development focused.
OCT-DEC '25
Classes, Abilities, and Crowdfunding
We're revealing the game and starting crowdfunding to develop Project Leyline alongside the community. Patrons will shape the classes and abilities via polls, meet the devs in live Q and A, and deliver feedback that informs our next steps.
JAN-FEB '26
Limited Patron Playtesting
We will begin private playtesting with select Patrons to tune the feel of the classes, abilities, gameplay, and balance using live feedback.
MAR-MAY '26
Expand Playtests & Game Modes
We will expand playtesting to more Patrons while adding new game modes, objectives, and mounts. These systems will prepare us for phase two, where we will shift from the deathmatch-style combat demo to large-scale, objective driven warfare.
